	**Composite Average Score of 5,000 ACSI Christian Schools

          National grade level, or the average score nationally for all private and public students, always falls at the 50th percentile. The average score for 5,000 ACSI Christian schools falls at around the 71st percentile. FWCS students usually score above the 75th percentile in all subject areas, e.g., a score at the 81st percentile in mathematics indicates that FWCS students scored higher than 80 percent of all students across America who took the same Stanford Achievement Test.

Performance Comparisons

          Besides percentile rankings, the ninth edition of the Stanford Achievement Test (S.A.T.) provided schools and parents with another means of measuring the academic skills of a student. A panel of experts analyzed each individual test question and assigned a skill level or level of difficulty to each question. These four levels of difficulty or performance were defined as follows by the S.A.T. panel.

      Level # 1 -- Little or no mastery (Below grade level)
      Level # 2 -- Partial mastery (Near grade level)
      Level # 3 -- Solid above average performance (Prepared for next grade)
      Level # 4 -- Superior performance beyond grade level mastery

           These scores indicated the difficulty level or quality of academic material that a student or class was able to handle. The following chart compares the performance levels of public schools nationally, 5,000 ACSI Christian schools, and FWCS's typical scores.

           The above chart reveals that four times as many FWCS students scored in the Level #4 Superior level as did public school students across America.
