FWCS operates a child care service from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. for children Age 2 through Grade 8.
All full-time preschool students receive supervised child care from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. as part of their regular weekly fees.

Piedmont Charter (PCCS) After-school Care: ($45 per week)
3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. • PCCS students are picked up by FWCS's two mini busses at 2:55 p.m. • Daily schedule includes snacks, playground, gym time, study hall, table games, etc. • Full-day childcare is available (7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) on most of PCCS's holidays and non-attendance days for an additional charge. • Contact the FWCS K-8 office at 704.865.9823 to obtain specific weekly and/or monthly rates. • Many after-school enrichment activities such as chess club, band, and science club are available for a small additional fee. Sherwood Elementary After-school Care: ($45 per week)
2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. • Sherwood students are picked up at Sherwood's campus in a FWCS mini-bus. • Full-day child care is available on most of Sherwood's holidays and non-attendance days, but not all. • See Piedmont Charter's section above for additional details.
